The UniSA Boardriders Club saw its' biggest ever learn to surf day to date, with 28 members coming out to enjoy the beautiful conditions at Middleton. The weather was perfect, being warm in the low thirties, with a light wind and the relatively clean 1-2ft swell. The conditions were great for beginners. Once again our cohort comprised of international and local students from both UniSA and Adelaide Uni. Those that had been out with the club previously enjoyed getting back into the surf and refining their skills further, with quite a few showing obvious improvement. For many this was also their first experience in the surf and were excited to be riding their first waves. The day was long, but enjoyable, with the cohort returning back to the City West campus eager for next Learn to Surf day on April 1st.
