Ainslee Knight, a current UniSA student will once again wear the green and gold this year.

Having graduated from a Bachelor of Human Movement in 2017, Knight is following her passion for children and now studying first year of a Masters of Teaching (Secondary).

Knight has been playing Indoor Cricket since 2012 and represented Australia in 2012, 2017 and now 2018 at junior competitions. She recently competed at the Australian Indoor Cricket National Championships for South Australia where the team finished a very respectable second. After a successful tournament at a personal level, Knight was selected in the 21&U Australian team to go to Sri Lanka for the Australasian Cup. The tournament will be held later this year from 15-26 September.

After having a strong tournament last year at the Dubai World Cup, Knight is looking to back up this performance again this year.

Combining study and playing at the elite level in her chosen sport of indoor cricket is no easy feat and one that requires good organisation and time management skills. UniSA Sport are pleased to be able to once again support Knight financially to compete for Australia through the UniSA Sport Amateur Athlete Grant. We wish Knight every success in pursuing her goal of teaching and playing sport and the elite level.
