About Us
Mawson Lakes Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club playing in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Competition. With teams playing in the ATCA B grade Two Day Competition and Lo grades One Day Competitions, MLCC offers a cost-effective way for students to experience Turf Cricket in Adelaide.

The club started as two social cricket clubs independently under the banners of the University of South Australia Cricket Club (Est. 1974) and Elders Cricket Club (Est. 1952). The two clubs eventually merged to become Elders-UniSA Cricket Club. In 2009 with the support of its members, Elders-UniSA Cricket Club decided to change its name to Mawson Lakes Cricket Club (MLCC).

Preseason training is being held at Mega Courts Indoor Centre, Windsor Gardens on Thursday Evenings 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, from 30th July onward. $5 per person for lane hire.

Regular season training is held at our Clubrooms at UniSA Mawson Lakes campus oval. (1 Mawson Lakes Boulevard, Building Z.) A registration day and training will be held on Father’s Day, Sunday 6th of September from 11 am – 1 pm and regular training will continue each Sunday until the regular season, where training will move to Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Play in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Competition (ATCA), with home and away games played all over Adelaide.
B2- Two Day (80 over) Competition played over two consecutive Saturdays with 12:30 pm start.
Lo4 + Lo7 - One Day (40 over) Competitions played on Saturdays with 1:00 pm start.
T20 Competition held between October and February on Tuesday nights, roughly 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Mawson Lakes CC is expressing interest in establishing a women team at the club. Teams will be playing T20 cricket on Sunday mornings in the ATCA women competition, with two 9 round seasons, one each side of the Christmas/New Years holidays.

We are also seeking a team manager/coach, to organise and coordinate the women team on game-days and trainings. If you are interested, please don't hesitate to get in contact with us.

Membership Fees
UniSA Students joining this club must be UniSA Sport members, free for students.

Club fees are $310 for UniSA Students and includes; affiliation fees, insurance, ground & wicket preparation and maintenance and ball fees. An MLCC playing shirt is also included in this price.
