Competition Wrap Up!
After having a busy awards night with UniSA Sport, where we won Club of the Year. We went back to Uni and finished preparing our car to leave for competition the next day...
UniSA Motorsport club designs and builds an electric open wheel race car to compete in an annual Australasian Formula SAE-A competition.
About UniSA Motorsport:
Our club is primarily a design and engineering team that runs as a business to build, manage and race an open wheel car in the Formula SAE-Australasia competition.
Since 2002, the club has consisted of students from various disciplines & schools, with an interest in managing, designing, and building a motorsport team & car. It is by no means a requirement to be studying an engineering degree nor having an interest in motorsport. Members work together in a friendly and nurturing environment and are responsible for the management, design, engineering, manufacturing, testing and data acquisition for a race car and team.
The club also enjoys an active social program with BBQs and karting events included on our calendar. No matter your experience or skill level, come and get involved for any motorsport activities, ranging from fun social outings to business presentations at international competitions and everything in between.
Meeting Times:
Our primary meetings are weekly on Mondays at 6PM. Alternatively we have workshop nights on Thursdays from 6PM onwards. You can find our clubrooms in M1-08 at the Mawson Lakes Campus. (First door on your right when entering M building).
Membership Fees:
To join the club, you must be a current Team UniSA member. Entry into the club is free for UniSA Students and $30 for UniSA Staff, Alumni, and community members.
