About Us
The UniSA Powerlifting Club welcomes members new to the sport with the primary discplines of squat, bench and deadlift!

Weekly training sessions are at UniSA City East campus in H1-11 on:

  • Wednesday 5:30-8:30pm
  • Friday 5:30-8:30pm

Training sessions will start from early February in 2022.

UniSA Powerlifting Club will be hosting a Novice Competition which is specific for those new to the sport. For people who want to compete in a sanctioned setting, the club will also be hosting an APU sanctioned competition.

The club is affiliated with the Australian Powerlifting Union (APU) which also allows you a chance to compete in APU Nationals, qualify for World University Games or IPF Worlds.

Membership Fees
To join the club you must be a current Team UniSA member (free for UniSA Students and $25 for UniSA Staff, Alumni and community members). 

Annual club fees apply for UniSA students, UniSA staff, alumni and community members.
