Athlete Grants

The UniSA Sport Grants program aims to support initiatives that will enhance the delivery and accessibility of sport and recreation at UniSA. Sport and recreation activities are beneficial for students' physical, social and psychological wellbeing.

UniSA Sport provides a number of grants for clubs and students to compete in their chosen sport at a desired level, thus encouraging greater participation and relief from financial pressures that often create barriers as outlined in the UniSA Sport Grants Guide.

The 2017 UniSA Sport Grants Guide provides important information on the variety of grants available, the application process and eligibility, key dates, required documentation and much more.

Prior to applying for a grant, clubs or members must:
  • Review the Grants Guide
  • Attend a grants information session (Club Operational Grant only) - to be held on Tuesday 21 March & Tuesday 5 September 2017
  • Discuss the grant application with a UniSA Sport staff member
