UniSA Sport will deliver a series of training workshops each year on practical subjects aimed at assisting club committee members to further develop club management skills.

Successful Grant Writing
Date: Tuesday 21 March 2017
Time: 5:00-6:00pm
Session Outline: This session is a must for all UniSA Sport Clubs who are looking at applying for a UniSA Sport Club Operational Grant in 2016. The session will provide details of; what your club can apply for, how to complete the form, supporting documentation and the Club Grants process. A club must send a representative to a Grant Writing Workshop prior to submitting a UniSA Sport Operational Club Grant.

University Sporting Clubs Leadership Conference 
Date: Monday 10 April 2017
Time: 1:00-7:00pm
Session Outline: For UniSA Sport Club committee members, this conference is a must. The conference is being organised by staff within the University sporting units from University of Adelaide, Flinders University and the University of South Australia. It is an opportunity for you to learn more about the secrets to successfully running a sporting club from engaging speakers and to network with club administrators from other clubs and Universities.Topics include; What makes a good club great?, Club Promotion, Getting Your Financials Right and Strategic Planning. There will also be an opportunity to share club good practise with other club leaders. Afternoon Tea and Dinner will be provided for all attendees. Everyone who attends the whole conference will also receive a 'Certificate of Attendance'.

First Aid Course
Date: Tuesday 11 April 2017
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm
Session Outline: UniSA Sport are providing UniSA Sport affiliated and endorsed clubs the opportunity to register one club member to complete an Apply First Aid Course. Apply First aid training aims to develop the knowledge and skills for a person to manage emergency first aid situations and deliver competent emergency care until the arrival of professional medical support. The course includes CPR.
