UniSA Sport offers a variety of sporting programs, including clubs, intravarsity sport, intervarsity sport and group fitness classes. Annually UniSA Sport facilitate a team for the City-Bay. Check the website events for a full list of offerings.

2.      How can I join a sports club at UniSA?

To join a sports club, search the club on this website. You can find information on membership costs, upcoming events, and contact details for each club.

3.      Are there any fitness facilities available on campus?

Yes, UniSA has fitness facilities available on each metropolitan campus, including gyms, group fitness room, indoor pool and indoor courts options are available for students, staff, alumni and community members.

4.      Can I participate in sports if I’m a beginner?

Absolutely! UniSA Sport encourages participation from all skill levels. Many clubs and programs offer beginner-friendly options and coaching to help you get started.

5.      What are the costs associated with joining a sports club?

Membership fees vary by club. Most club offer discounted fees for UniSA students. Fees are heavily reduced compared with other community clubs. Detailed information about costs can be found on the specific club pages on the UniSA Sport website.

6.      Can I represent UniSA in sporting competitions?

Yes, UniSA has competitive sports teams within clubs that participate in local competitions. You can also get involved in SA Challenge; an intervarsity sports tournament where UniSA students compete against cross-town rivals the University of Adelaide, Flinders University and Torrens University in multiple sports throughout the year. At a national level you can compete for UniSA in multiple team and individual sports at the UniSport Nationals. You can find information on registration, costs and trials on the UniSA Sport website.

7.       How can I stay updated on upcoming events and activities?

You can stay updated by joining the Team UniSA membership (free for UniSA students) to receive regular UniSA Sport newsletters, following their social media channels; instragram and Facebook or regularly checking the events calendar on the website.

8.      Is there support for elite athletes balancing studies and sports?

Yes, UniSA provides support for student-athletes who are eligible for the Elite Athlete & Performer Register. Join the UniSA Sport Athlete Development Program (ADP) designed to support student-athletes in their pursuit of sporting excellence while balancing academic commitments. The program provides access to S & C coaching, high performance testing, training resources, and mentoring to help athletes reach their full potential. 9.      Can I use UniSA Sport facilities as a community member?

All facilities are available for UniSA students, staff, alumni and community members. Check the website for details on public memberships.

10.  How do I provide feedback or suggestions about UniSA Sport programs and facilities?

Feedback can be submitted through the contact form on the Contact Us page. Your suggestions are valuable in helping improve programs and services.

11.     Can I book the indoor courts anytime?

The indoor courts are used by the School of Education, UniSA Sport club training,  paid play and external hire groups. They are generally available during the day for paid play, visit the Mawson Lakes and Pridham Hall court availability pages on the UniSA Sport website. Contact UniSA Sport directly for external hire availability and pricing.
