A team of 68 student-athletes proudly represented UniSA for the final time at the 2025 UniSport Nationals, held on the Gold Coast and Brisbane from 27 September to 3 October. Competing among more than 6,000 students from 42 universities nationwide, UniSA athletes delivered strong performances and earned three bronze medals.
UniSA’s 10 teams included: judo (men & women), kendo (men & women), fencing (men), golf (men), netball (women), lacrosse (mixed), basketball (men and women) and volleyball (men and women).
A big congratulations to our UniSA medal recipients:
Of course, the university’s athlete participation would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the UniSA team managers, coaches and support staff: Justin Mesa, Sue Tan, Darren Kawka, Kendall McInnis, Emilia Rinaldi, Ned Gauvin, Nikki Haines, Shannon Schutt, Rob Gaze, Bella Woosnam, Mia Valk, Dannii Munn, Connor Turlan, Anson Chan, Huy Phan and Lily Hockings.
