UniSA students made waves at the 2025 UniSport Nationals Swimming event, held as part of the Sydney Open from 16–18 May. Representing the University of South Australia with pride, three talented student-athletes took to the pool alongside some of the country’s best university swimmers, delivering strong performances across multiple events.
A special mention to Brooke Simpson, who delivered an exceptional performance in the Multi-Class (MC) events. Brooke came home with an impressive trio of medals: gold in the 400m freestyle MC, silver in the 200m freestyle MC, and bronze in the 100m freestyle MC.
UniSA Sport would like to congratulate Brooke Simpson, Georgia McAvaney and Theo Dimitri; their commitment and passion exemplify what it means to be a student-athlete at UniSA. A special thanks to our Team Manager Andrew Truong for his support.
