This product must be purchased by UniSA students who wish to play Wheelchair Basketball in the SA Challenge Intervarsity Tournament on Thursday 4th May 2023.
Description
SA Challenge is an annual intervarsity sports competition between students from UniSA, Flinders University and the University of Adelaide. This event is all about participation, having a go and fighting it out against our SA rivals for the SA Challenge Cup!
The Wheelchair Basketball Competition will take place from 11:30am-4:30pm at Pridham Hall, UniSA City West Campus on Thursday 4th May 2023.
Wheelchair Basketball will be a mixed competition. Each university may submit 1 team, each team with a minimum of 5 and maximum of 8 players. Each team must have a minimum of 2 female players.
The competition will be run in accordance with our COVID-Safe Plan to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
PLEASE NOTE: No experience is required to register for this event. It is an inclusive sport competition, therefore is open to all students regardless of whether or not they are wheelchair users. Sports wheelchairs will be supplied for all participants at no extra cost. Should a wheelchair user require assistance to transfer from their wheelchair to a sports wheelchair, they are encouraged to bring someone along to assist them on the day.
