UniSA Sport Facilities Update as of 14 April 2022


IMPORTANT INFORMATION: UNISA SPORT FACILITIES ARE NOW OPEN

All UniSA Sports gyms, pool and indoor programs are operating as normal with no density requirements.

From 12:01 on Friday 15 April masks are no longer mandatory to wear within UniSA Sport facilities, although those who choose to continue to wear a mask are welcome to do so. QR Code check-ins are now longer required when visiting a UniSA Sport facility. 

If you feel unwell or have had close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, please stay home. Please remember to adhere to our COVID-19 protocols, including bringing a towel to every workout, using the hand sanitiser provided before entering and leaving and following floor markers and social distancing requirements in the facilities.

What you need to be aware of prior to visiting any UniSA Sport facility

 
• You are required to bring a gym towel. There will be no exceptions to the rule, NO TOWEL – NO WORKOUT. (Towels are available for purchase from all UniSA Sport reception counters for $12.00).

• You are required to wipe down equipment before and after every use with fitwipes provided. Extra cleaning/sanitising spray will be made readily available
 
Group Fitness classes at Pridham Hall have recommenced and you can view our new timetable on our website here.

Prior to your first group fitness class:

• We strongly encourage participants to bring their own mat to Yoga and Pilates classes.

• You are required to bring a gym towel. There will be no exceptions to the rule, NO TOWEL – NO WORKOUT. (Towels are available for purchase from all UniSA Sport reception counters for $12.00)

• You are required to wipe down equipment before and after every use with fitwipes provided. Extra cleaning/sanitising spray will be made readily available

• Ensure you use the hand sanitiser provided BEFORE and AFTER every class.

• Class size will be capped at 25

• You must adhere to floor markers and social distancing requirements.

Intervarsity Sport Updates

The 2022 SP2 and SP5 SA Challenge intervarsity tournaments are being held on various dates throughout the year. All competitions will be run in accordance with our COVID-Safe Plan. Visit our website to register.
