Students competing at major national and international events, including national championships, World University Games, the Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games, World Championships and local professional codes are all eligible for assistance from UniSA.
UniSA offers an outstanding package of support services for elite athletes and performing artists through the Elite Athlete and Elite Performing Artist Program
. We want to do all we can to help you succeed in both your education and your sporting or performing career, including pre-application support, flexible study options, advice, guidance, flexibility, and assistance.
What can UniSA Sport do for elite athletes?
Aside from the range of great facilities, intervarsity and representative events, UniSA Sport also understands the financial pressures that often create barriers for elite athletes to compete in their chosen sport at desired levels or the intervarsity events on offer. UniSA has two grants programs available for elite athletes providing a range of valuable financial support. For further information, including how to apply go to UniSA Sport Grants Guide
. Any Elite Athlete who successfully receives a UniSA Elite Athlete & Performer Grant to attend the 2019 UniSport Nationals will also receive a free UniSA Sport 12 month gym membership.
Not attending the UniSport Nationals, but want to access great gym and pool facilities on campus? UniSA Sport provides a 50% discount off up front 3, 6 and 12-month memberships for UniSA Elite Athletes. To take advantage of this offer, just email UniSA Sport
proof of your Elite Athlete status and we will make contact with you to arrange the membership.
