UniSA Sport offers a number of student placement opportunities across its events, facilities and clubs.
Students studying Sport & Recreation Management and Tourism & Event Management have undertaken placements assisting with the organization of events such as the Pridham Hall Opening and UniSA Sport’s 2019 Intervarsity Sport competitions. Other placements have included the development of structured sporting competitions in UniSA Sport’s facilities. There is also opportunities to gain experience with UniSA Sport Clubs for students looking to improve their skills and knowledge of Club operations including financial management, member recruitment and governance.
UniSA Sport also offers opportunities for students studying journalism who have a specific interest in sports journalism and interviewing student athletes and reporting on UniSA Sport performance at all levels of competition.
UniSA Sport’s facilities also host in excess of 160 students annually from Allied Health & High Performance who undertake approximately 10,000 placement hours where they work with clients prescribing exercises specific to the client’s needs.
