UniSA Sport has teamed with UniSport Australia and Sport Australia to develop the UniSA Moves Mobile App!
Australia has always been known as a great sporting nation – a country that glows with health and vitality. But lately, things have changed.
"Sport participation by Australians is becoming increasingly passive. Australians need to put down the remote control and mobile devices and head outdoors for a half-hour walk." - Dr David Hughes, AIS Chief Medical Officer.
UniSA Moves aims to help staff and students at the University of South Australia to commit to at least a minimum of 30 minutes of activity every day. The aim is to reach at least 100 moves on the App each day. Where you find your 30 is up to you, the app is designed to support you, give you ideas, and remind you to move. It also tracks your moves and progress over time.
So, UniSA it’s time to get moving!
