As tradition states on the morning of the SAFDA awards Big Kev’s Charity Beach Tourney will be held. This year UniSA took charge of the much loved competition making it bigger and more rewarding than ever. Taking place on the expansive Glenelg Beach 12 teams laid it all in the sand making it the most attended Big Kev’s to date as well as highest raising.
In what was as perfect beach conditions as anybody could have asked for the day was won by Pillow Fight in a typical universe point final with Children of the Tide taking home the spirit award. Most importantly, over $1300 was raised to be donated the winning team’s charities of The Royal Flying Doctors Service and Teen Challenge.
