The UniSA Swimming Club is a fun and great way to get involved in casual or competitive swimming, providing the opportunity to make new friends and experience all that university life has to offer. The club is based at Pridham Hall in the City West campus, which boasts an indoor 25m pool, heated all year round.

How many current members?

We have 21 current members.

What activities has the club been involved in over the past 12 months?

The club has hosted several come and try events and social outings such as a post uni exam breakfast after training and an end of uni break dinner and bowling night to start off the new semester.

How has your club adapted to being online in terms of engaging with your members?

The club has been posting on the Facebook page some details about the current committee members every Monday. Weekly workouts gets posted every Wednesday designed by the coach and some fun facts about swimming every Friday.

Why should you join the Swim Club?

The swim club accommodates a variety of swimmers - those who are looking to improve swimming technique, to those who aim to improve their competitive swim times.

What is your favourite part of being a UniSA Sport club member?

The best part of being a UniSA Sport club member is meeting new people who share the same interests and being able to stay fit while doing so. Being a club member also opens opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Being on the club committee allows students to gain hands on experience while studying.
