About Us

UniSA Sport is the gateway to all sport and recreation at the University of South Australia

Established in 2013, UniSA Sport is part of the University of South Australia and therefore operates within the University's governance and management framework.



UniSA Sport provides support for student sport and recreational clubs and activities at the University of South Australia. We work closely with all stakeholders and external strategic partners to deliver the best possible sport and physical recreation opportunities and experience for the University community.
 

Our team 


Adrian George, Manager UniSA Sport

Overall responsibility for the successful management and strategic direction of UniSA Sport. This includes staff management and development, financial management, strategic planning, key stakeholder relationship development and facility development. Ensures UniSA Sport is profiled in the University and wider community with the aim of delivering ever increasing on and off-field participation opportunities for our constituents.

Deanna Kennedy, Clubs and Participation Coordinator

Oversees and provides support to UniSA’s endorsed and affiliated sporting clubs, as well as implementing training & development opportunities to club committees. Coordinates the club grants program and on-campus participation opportunities, including supporting clubs to deliver social sport competitions.  Responsible for the UniSA Sport Athlete Development program and Activator (volunteer) Program.

Bridget Fenoughty, Intervarsity Sport and Events Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating UniSA Sport’s Intervarsity Sport Program including SA Challenge, standalone intervarsity tournaments, UniSport Australia Nationals and Championship events. Oversees UniSA Sport’s involvement in promotional events including O-Week, Campus Fair, ClubsFest, Open Day and UniTopia. Also coordinates and delivers the annual UniSA Sport Awards event.

Simon Keane, Team Leader: UniSA Sport Facilities

Overall responsibility for the management of the sport, fitness and recreation facilities on City West, City East, Mawson Lakes and Magill campuses. By providing leadership, management and guidance to the Sports and Fitness Coordinators, ensures the facilities deliver participation and student placement opportunities whilst meeting legislative requirements. 

Jacob Gracey, Sport Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating all customer service staff and customer service operations at Pridham Hall and Mawson Lakes facilities, and aquatic staff at Pridham Hall. Oversees all aspects of UniSA Sport’s multi-purpose sports courts at s at Pridham Hall, Mawson Lakes and Magill as well as aquatic operations at Pridham Hall.

Sarah Fullston, Fitness Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of fitness operations at Pridham Hall, City East, Magill and Mawson Lakes facilities including the gym, structured group fitness classes and personal training. Also responsible for coordinating UniSA Sport’s supervision of UniSA Allied Health & Human Performance student placements and overseeing the access to the facilities by UniSA Health Clinics and Invictus Pathways Program athletes.
