Squash is a social but competitive sport played in a four-walled court with a racquet and ball. UniSA's Squash Club offers people of all skill levels the chance to try the sport and get some fitness in. Read more about the club in our latest #TeamUniSA profile:
At the moment we have 14 current paid members as well as over 130 members on our Facebook group.
Our Squash Club holds regular training sessions on Monday and Wednesday nights at the UniSA Mawson Lakes Campus Sports Centre. We also hold come 'n' try sessions as part of UniSA Sport events and occasional intraclub competitions.
UniSA Squash Club was the winner of Squash SA Challenge in both 2016 and 2017.
Many of our club communications are done online via social media e.g. Facebook groups, chat or Zoom sessions. We also had our recent club meetings online via a Zoom session.
The best part of being a member of the club is the opportunity to remain active and lose weight. Squash has been ranked as the top cardio activity for faster burning calories. On top of that, squash is a big socialising opportunity.
