Training:
Players competing in a district team are expected to attend the weekly training session. Training is held at Pridham Hall, UniSA City West campus. If Pridham Hall is unavailable due to graduations or other events, the UniSA Mawson Lakes Sports Centre is used.
Men's training is currently held at 7 to 9pm on Thursdays and Women's training at 6 to 7pm on Mondays.
Free Parking is limited around the area, but $6 undercover parking is available on Clarendon Street.
Competitions:
UniSA Basketball Club enters teams in the Senior District League (SDL) competition. For 2023/24, the SDL Pre-Season runs from 19/10/2023 to 02/12/2023 and the SDL Championship Season runs from 01/02/24 to 03/08/24. Games are played weekly between 6:30pm and 10:30pm on Tuesday or Wednesday nights (depending on the division). You will be required to play at stadiums all over metropolitan Adelaide from Port Adelaide to Morphett Vale. Players are expected to commit to the full season, including trainings.
Fees:
There are several fees in order to play district basketball for UniSA. Our club fees are one of the most affordable out of all the district basketball clubs in Adelaide, with some clubs charging up to $500 per season for club membership. PLEASE DO NOT PAY FEES OR ORDER A UNIFORM BEFORE CONTACTING UNISA BASKETBALL CLUB AND BEING SELECTED FOR A TEAM. Fees include:
