Welcome to the new UniSA Handball Club, which was recently established by a group of students and alumni who love playing European handball. The Club welcomes both new and experienced players, including those who might have played handball at school in Australia or abroad. Join us to have fun, get fit and try something different!

The Club aims to grow the sport of handball within the University, and to field teams in local handball competitions. It will do this by running Come and Try sessions and trainings at UniSA gyms across the year. The Club will also participate in other UniSA promotional activities.

We have finished indoor handball for 2018, and are now jumping into beach handball. There will be chances for UniSA staff/students to try this great summer sport, which we play in Glenelg as part of the Handball SA social competition. We welcome anyone to attend, whether you are brand new to (beach) handball or have some experience already.

Although this is the first Handball Club to be established at UniSA, it builds on a tradition of UniSA handball teams participating at Australian University Games since 2007. The Club has already tasted success, winning the Handball SA winter mixed social competition in July 2018. It hopes to continue that success in future indoor and beach handball competitions.

Please keep your eyes below and on our Facebook page for upcoming events, such as Come and Try sessions, plus feel free to email or inbox us if you have any questions.
