UniSA's Basketball Club achieved some great success in the last 12 months, which you will read about in this #TeamUniSA profile. With 70 members involved across a number of male and female teams, the UniSA Basketball Club won two premierships in the 2019/2020 seasons, while also making the grand final in three other divisions. What events/competitions/activities has the club been involved in over the past 12 months?
The club enter teams in the SA Basketball District competition, as well as in social basketball competitions. UniSA Basketball Club players have represented the club in a number of carnivals over the past 12 months, including the St Clair Christmas Basketball Carnival and the Tanunda Basketball Carnival.

The club had a very successful 2019 winter and summer season, notable achievements include:
- 2019 Div 2 Senior Womens Winter Premiers
- 2019 Div 2 Senior Mens Winter Grand Finalists
- 2019/2020 Summer Senior Womens Div 2A Grand Finalists
- 2019/2020 Summer Senior Womens Div 2B Premiers
- 2019/2020 Summer Senior Mens Div 4A Grand Finalists
- 2019 UniSA Sport Team of the Year finalists (Senior Womens Div 2 Team)
How has your club adapted to being online in terms of engaging with your members– eg setting challenges etc?
The club are continuing to engage with members online by facilitating:
- Virtual fitness sessions
- Virtual dribbling and skills training sessions
- Discussing the current Michael Jordan documentary and other basketball related topics

Access to amazing UniSA sports facilities as well as the support that UniSA Sport provides in maintaining the club and helping the club keep progressing.
