#TeamUniSA Profile: UniSA Men's Soccer Club

Kirralee Thomas

UniSA's Men's Soccer Club is dedicated to the development of all our players and the creation of a great club for all to enjoy. Their collegiate teams use Mawson Lakes Oval for training and home games, while the UniSA Juniors are located at the Magill Campus Oval.

How many current members?

We have approximately 30 juniors and two senior collegiate teams.

What competitions has the club been involved in over the past 12 months?

We are affiliated with the South Australian Collegiate Soccer League (currently two teams), FFSA Junior Competition (U12) and MiniRoos (U9 and U6).

Outline some of your club or club member achievements?

In past years some junior players have been selected in FFSA special squads.

How has your club adapted to being online in terms of engaging with your members?

For us to adapt to being online was rather straightforward. Football South Australia had an excellent program to help keep our members involved, so, in most cases, we relied on the official resources provided by FSA. Also, players looking to become financial have used the UniSA Sport Website to pay their fees. It has worked well.

What is your favourite part of being a UniSA Sport club member?

Being a part of UniSA Sport means a lot to our Club. It brings necessary stability and provides access to all the amazing resources.

How can people join your club?

Our website (that will get a new look soon) provides all the details about the fees and membership. Anyone who would like to join us can reach out at unisafc@gmail.com or through our Facebook page.
