Event 1 of the 2022 VC Cup was held as an online running competition for the first time using the Strava fitness app. 53 participants across 8 Units registered to be involved in the competition, which was held over two weeks between 11 April - 24 April.
During the event participants tracked their run working towards recording their 1 km personal best time. The average fastest time was then calculated for each Unit, Clinical & Health Sciences lead their team to victory and recorded an average personal best of 4:29 for 1 km. The Business team took home second place and the Justice & Society team came in at third place.
It was great to have so many participants involved in this online event for the VC Cup and was fantastic to see one of our regional campuses, Mt Gambier involved as well.
