Facilities Reopening

We are pleased to announce that all UniSA Sport run facilities will be reopening on Monday 15th June 2020, in line with the University of South Australia’s Return to Campus Roadmap.

On the 15th of June all facility memberships will be reactivated automatically, so you do not need to do anything to get restarted. If you wish to keep your membership on suspension past the 15th June, please email unisasport@unisa.edu.au as soon as possible so we can process this for you.

For members who pay their membership by fortnightly direct debit, the first direct debit due after the facilities reopen will be Thursday 25th June 2020.

Closer to our reopening date, we will let you know further details about the measures we will be putting in place to ensure we meet the strict hygiene and social distancing protocols set by the South Australian Government.

UniSA Sport Clubs

Sporting clubs play an important role in people’s health and wellbeing. With the easing of restrictions and in line with the Recovery Roadmap for South Australia, UniSA Sport clubs who participate outdoors recommenced training from May 8th. With the reopening of the University’s sport and recreation facilities on June 15th, indoor clubs will recommence their training.

Clubs are currently working closely with UniSA Sport and their peak sporting body to develop a return to sport plan to ensure strict hygiene and social distancing protocols are adhered to as set out by the SA Government. Sport will look a little different on the return to your club and this will be communicated by your club prior to training recommencing.

If you have not joined a UniSA Sport club, now is a great time to get involved. Check out the UniSA Sport website for the list of clubs and for further information.

Intervarsity Sport Events

We are currently offering various opportunities for students to represent Team UniSA in online intervarsity events. Check out the event details on our website.
